Have you been wanting your own foil, for classes and tournaments?
Have you ever wondered how an electric foil is constructed?
Do you love to fence, and wish you had more opportunities to bout?
Enguardians coaches and armourers would like to help you!
For a cost of approximately $90, workshop participants will receive all of the components and all of the expertise needed to construct their own electric foil! Components (right or left handed) will be ordered through the club to ensure the best deal. Participants will be requested to bring a few small tools if they can (6mm hex wrench, precision slot head screwdriver, optionally a knife and pocket lighter), to speed the construction process.
After learning all about weapon construction and maintenance by building your own weapon, participants will have the opportunity to test their mettle in a fun open tournament. (Fencers who already own a weapon are encouraged to come just for the bouting!)
We need at least 10 participants to make this event happen. ACHIEVED!
If you are interested, please send a quick email to enguardians@gmail.com expressing interest and letting us know if you will be able to bring your toolkit
Once we reach our minimum registration threshold, we will schedule the event and send out full registration information
